What a surprise

I got surprised when I got back to my hotel room today. Guess what inside a white box lying on top of the desk? It is a cake and to be precise a Birthday Cake. What a service :) But for most peoples , is it a really big deal to get a birthday cake from hotel?

Well, I tell you what. It is not the cake. It is about the a small and simple things that can really make big difference to someone at that time and that place itself. It is not expensive at all but it is really effective. Peoples tend to forget that a small stuff like this can make a big impact on different peoples. Sometime gifts should not be damn expen$ive to make someone happy ! It is all about doing the right thing at the right time and right place. It is all about observation ! Maybe a bit of luck :P

Wet Market

I am not been to the Wet Market for a long time ! Wet market impression to many peoples are wet,dirty,smelly, crowded and etc ! Most peoples today just grab their groceries from shopping malls with big ass car park and powered by air condition that kill this planet slowly.

I feel like back to the past and nostalgic. I used to help my father at his stall during my early childhood and most of the memory is still very visible in my left/right brain. The old shops are still there although some of them have renovated or change of ownership. But the things I like the most are the peoples ! When I usually shops at malls and I cannot stand the crowd. I do not know how to describe it but it is just a place of havoc. I just hate it ! Usually I just grabbed the stuffs I need and get the hell out of the there ! I am just tired of these peoples behavior.

I usually went to the wet market (with confinement lady) around 7am or 7:30am to avoid the traffic congestion. Traffic is always nightmare for me (at least). I used to be very impatient when I got stuck in traffic jam. But things have change a bit, perhaps age is catching up on me. I need the confinement lady who I called "Ah Yee" to select and buy groceries for my wife. The usual groceries lists are pork,chicken,vegetables and some spices or herbs. One good things about wet market , you can get most of the stuffs you want to from here. Unlike the malls , sometime you just to search around from one mall to one mall.

However I got the feeling this kind of wet market will not last long. As peoples are getting use to the mall with big air conditioning and indirectly killing our planet slowly and our future generation. This is the price of developing nation as peoples used to say. Oh well , I do not agree with it but for sure I have to been to the wet market before and hope their existence will continue in the near future even with the current onslaught of modern shopping malls.

I have been upgraded to Daddy

on 25 Dec 2007 , my little princess was born. Weight at 3.04 kg , she look so damn cute ! But the most important now , I am a DADDY now ! Daddy ! Papa !
My only wish for this year is both mother and baby are safe and healthy. Nothing more and nothing less. Most peoples asked me , are you ready to become daddy ? My answer to them is always "YES" even tough I am not ready or to be honest , there is no such thing as ready ! I am that kind of person that do not think too much about future and past. Most of the time I will think about present ! This is the biggest gift I have ever got i my entire life in this planet. Thank you so much !

There are a lot of coffee shops around the Ericsson office at Shin Yokohama. Coffee shops like StarBucks or Tully Coffee are easily accessible. In Malaysia , most StarBucks are available at big shopping malls and some others specific locations. But the shitty things , I have to drive, pay the toll and jam and struggling to find a parking place or spot. In my country , you can built a bank branch just by the busy roadside. Impressive right !
Prices are not much differences between here and Malaysia. But in Malaysia , I can have the local Malaysia coffee drink like the white coffee or coffee-mix-tea (cham) from shops like OldTown Coffee.

Back home ....

Bumper-to-Bumper

It have been 2 weeks since I left Japan and still struggling to fit in myself again. Most peoples will say , it is an excuse. You have been leaving here for past 30 years , you bastard ! What the hell you talking about ? Well ...

One thing that really upset me is the weather. It is hot and then rain and become cloudy. It is just like human mood. I never like hot weather and instead I hate it so much ! When it rain , floods definitely the major news. It is like a festival and events every years ! Then next is traffic jams. I just hate it so much!
And now since it is raining season, clothes will not be able to dry for the next fews hours and days and it will have those dampen SMELL like wet dogs ! Arghhh...

I have really hard time to eat the Malaysian food nowdays. I used to love it so much but not now. Not in future.My taste changed. It is so salty ! I need to start to learn Japanese cooking as soon as possible.
